Join Our Team: Senior Utility Surveyor Location: Warrington | On-site | UK Travel Required Are you an experienced Utility Surveyor seeking a role where you can work independently and play a key part in shaping the future of a busy Surveys Department? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Utility Surveyor to plan and undertake utility and clearance surveys throughout the UK. A full UK driving licence and willingness to work away from home are essential. We are Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience. A one-stop-shop for pre- and post-construction services. Igne’s six service categories are: site investigation, testing, unexploded ordnance, water wells, geothermal, and geo-environmental. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and undertake PAS128 Utility and Clearance Surveys across the UK independently * Manage site works, including health and safety, and produce risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) * Liaise with the Principal Surveyor and Project Managers to ensure smooth progression of site activities * Produce daily site record sheets and ensure all data is securely backed up at the end of each shift * Conduct site audits and quality checks to maintain high standards * Keep up to date with the latest equipment and techniques, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in Utility Surveying * Full valid UK driving licence * CSCS card holder * QCF Level 3 or above * Experienced in using EML, GPR, Total Station, and GPS equipment * Proficient in AutoCAD, N4ce, MBS, and other relevant desktop data packages * Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills * Ability to work independently and take ownership of site operations In return Igne provides a competitive salary with opportunities for development and benefits as detailed below: Salary & Benefits: * £Commensurate with experience * We operate a hybrid model * 33 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) * Continuous training and development * Medical cashback plan * Death in service scheme We are a Real Living Wage Employer, a Disability Confident Employer and signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant; we recruit talented individuals who care about making a positive difference.
