Are you looking to expand your experience into UXO magnetometry and subsurface investigation? Igne is seeking a motivated, detail‑driven Survey Engineer to join our growing team and support a wide range of construction, infrastructure and land‑development projects in Gillingham. You’ll carry out both intrusive and non‑intrusive UXO magnetometry surveys, using handheld equipment and operated rigs to collect precise, high‑quality data that informs safe project delivery. This role suits someone who enjoys technical fieldwork, thrives on accuracy, and communicates confidently with clients and project teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform intrusive and non‑intrusive surveys in line with Igne’s methodologies and standards.
  • Record, input and interpret data using proprietary and manufactured systems (training provided).
  • Work in accordance with ESOPs, project instructions and method statements.
  • Execute walking or towed non‑intrusive surveys and operate intrusive rigs.
  • Produce and return all required paperwork, including dynamic risk assessments, COSHH, diaries and variation records.
  • Flag commercial, operational or timeline impacts immediately.
  • Attend and pass internal/external training to stay current with equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure all collected data is submitted accurately and on time.
