Ignata Finance are working with a brilliant business located in Central London for the recruitment of an Interim Group Accountant. This is a technical role which will expose you to group accounting/consolidations, mergers and acquisitions and complex financial reporting. This is a newly created position which has been formed to improve efficiency, accuracy and the reliability of information across the group.
This role sits within the senior management team and you will be responsible for promoting and building relationships with key stakeholders as well as driving and influencing change. This is a progressive opportunity which will pave the way to future roles which will advance your accounting and commercial experience.
Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:
- ACCA/ACA Qualified
- Previous experience of working within a group function (essential)
- Previous experience of auditing
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production of year end statutory accounts
- Work with heads of departments to ensure reporting deadlines are adhered to
- Preparation of the groups consolidated accounts
- Assist with year end audit process
- Take a lead in any technical accounting projects
- Assist with M&A projects/reporting
- Take a lead role maintaining and improving internal controls
- Ensure systems are maintained
