Overview
A Private Equity backed professional services firm have recently taken on secondary investment and are now looking to grow the business internationally, current GFC is bring promoted and looking to bring in a new GFC based in London.
Responsibilities
- Lead the production of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Group, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (FSR 102).
- Prepare and present detailed management accounts and monthly board reporting packs.
- Take ownership of all Group tax compliance and filings, liaising with external tax advisors as needed.
- Oversee financial controls and internal audit processes, strengthening the groupβs control environment.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage treasury activities, including liquidity management, banking relationships, and covenant reporting / forecasting.
- Monitor and control divisional budgets, driving cost discipline and financial accountability.
- Support M&A activity from a finance perspective: due diligence, acquisition accounting (purchase price allocation, goodwill), and post-deal integration.

Qualifications / Experience
- Top 10 accountancy practice trained (ACA)
- Demonstrable experience in a senior finance management Groups role within a high-growth, acquisitive international Group.
- Proven technical expertise in complex accounting, consolidation, and multi-jurisdictional financial management.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and debt management.
- Hands-on experience supporting M&A transactions, including integration and accounting.
