We are currently retained by a rapidly scaling PE backed business in the wellbeing sector to recruit their new Finance Director. The business has seen transformational growth across the last year and is looking to continue their upward trajectory.
As Finance Director, you will be working closely with the Managing Director to shape financial strategy and ensure operational excellence. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will provide both strategic direction and hands-on support to ensure the company is set up for scalable, data-driven growth.
About the Role:
- Lead and develop a finance team capable of supporting increasing business scale and complexity
- Deliver on private equity reporting and covenant requirements, ensuring compliance, governance, and Exit Readiness
- Enable operational excellence and efficiency, partnering with all departments and teams
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting frameworks
- Ensure timely, accurate, and insight-driven reporting for decision-making
- Maintain tight control over cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to ensure liquidity for growth
- Develop long-term financial plans aligned with company objectives, monitoring performance against budget
- Serve as a board member and key contributor to leadership discussions

- Qualified Accountant
- Recent experience as a Finance Director/Head of Finance in a rapidly scaling SME environment
- Exceptional proficiency in driving technology advancement across a business
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong document control and formatting standards
