We are currently working with a high growth luxury retail business to recruit their Commercial Management Accountant. This is a newly created position offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the growing business. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for developing a new framework for monthly reporting. Retail industry experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
- To create new management reports across ecommerce, retail and wholesale.
- Production of monthly management accounts, driving efficiencies and process improvement.
- Investigate and prepare narratives explaining variances.
- Business Partner cross functionally, building strong credible relationships outside of finance in order to gain an understanding of cost and ROI (Ecommerce, wholesale, retail, marketing, IT, brand promotion).
- Support the budgeting and reforecasting process, enabling good decisions in line with the growth of the business.
- Preparation of financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions, providing commercial challenge and support to drive cost efficiency, margin improvement, and ROI.
- Ad hoc finance tasks as required.
Experience and Skills:
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified/finalist.
- Retail, E-Commerce and Wholesale industry experience essential.
- Experience working within a high growth, SME environment.
- NetSuite experience is highly desirable.
- Highly analytical and data driven.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to collaborate effectively with other teams and external partners.
- Motivated and proactive, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious of the ‘so what’ beyond the numbers.
Working Pattern:
3 days per week in the Central London Office, 2 from home.
