We are recruiting experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayers for a busy automotive site. Successful candidates will be responsible for prepping and painting a range of vehicles in a fast-paced, professional environment using the latest paint systems and equipment.
The Role:
Within this Paint Sprayer role, you will be responsible for:
- Mixing and colour matching paints using a PPG paint scheme
- Painting vehicles and panels to a high standard every time
- Completing anything from full resprays to single-panel paintwork
- Using industrial spray booths and operating a scissor lift for access to vehicle upper decks when required
- Carrying out daily checks and running of the spray booth
- Ensuring all vehicles are correctly masked and prepped prior to entering the booth
- Undertaking any final prep work in the booth if needed
The Person:
- Previous experience in an automotive bodyshop is essential
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer is required
- Must supply your own air-fed mask and spray guns
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality finish
- Comfortable working on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Hold a full category B driving licence (maximum 6 points for minor offences)
