We are currently recruiting for Transport Coordinators to join a busy automotive logistics operation based in Ryton-on-Dunsmore. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced transport team, supporting the day-to-day planning and coordination of vehicle movements while ensuring a high level of customer service and operational efficiency.

The Role:As a Transport Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Allocating transport to meet operational requirements
- Coordinating daily transport activities and schedules
- Communicating with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Using Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook to manage workloads and communications
- Updating transport records and internal IT systems accurately
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
- Supporting the wider transport team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required timescales
Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or coordination role is desirable. Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Comfortable using IT systems and handling telephone enquiries. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational and communication skills. Enjoys working as part of a team. Positive, proactive, and reliable approach to work.
