Are you an experienced Vehicle Polisher? If so, please read on about this exciting opportunity that we are recruiting for. Working on the behalf of one of the leading automotive companies in the UK, successful candidates will be undertaking all aspects of fresh paint polish within in a busy and fast paced bodyshop. The Role: Within the Polisher role, you will be responsible for the below tasks: * Undertaking the final polish of freshly painted vehicle panels. * Rectifying any paint defects, such as runs in the paint using de-nibbing blocks. * Flat and polishing vehicle panels using a handheld dual action polisher. * Ensure the vehicle is finished to the correct standards ready for quality control inspection. * Ensure any scratches or swirls in the paint are polished out. What kind of person we are looking for? * Previous experience of working within an automotive bodyshop is essential for this role. * You will need to be able to able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience of polishing out runs and defects in freshly painted vehicle panels. * You will need to have excellent attention to detail. * You must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player. * Be happy working in a fast paced, busy workshop. * Hold a full category B driving licence with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences.
