We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy de-fleet operation in Mansfield. Working on behalf of a leading automotive company, you will be responsible for the safe movement and basic checks of trailers and units within a large, fast-paced yard environment.
The Role
- Shunting trailers and units around the de-fleet yard to support vehicle cleaning and preparation teams
- Moving units and trailers into designated parking bays within the compound
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks, including oil levels and tyre tread depth
- Driving a range of HGV units and trailers of different makes and models
- Working safely and efficiently within a busy yard environment
Requirements:
- HGV Class 1 (CE) licence held for at least 2 years
- No more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
- Be confident to manoeuvre Class 1 vehicles within a busy compound environment
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a professional work attitude
- Have strong teamwork and collaboration skills
