Are you a skilled Vehicle Polisher with experience in an automotive bodyshop setting? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Working on behalf of one of the leading automotive companies in the UK, successful candidates will be polishing a range of vehicles in a busy and fast‑paced bodyshop.
The Role:
- Undertaking the final polish of freshly painted vehicle panels
- Rectifying paint defects, including runs and imperfections, using de‑nibbing blocks
- Flatting and polishing vehicle panels using a handheld dual action polisher
- Ensuring vehicles are finished to the required standard ready for quality control inspection
- Polishing out scratches, swirls, and other minor paint imperfections
- Supporting the training of new team members when required
The Person:
- Previous experience working within an automotive bodyshop is essential
- Ability to demonstrate experience polishing freshly painted vehicle panels and removing paint defects
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
- Ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced workshop environment
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
