We are looking for an Automotive Bodyshop Team Leader to join our client’s team based in Manchester. You will be hands on and able to support the team in all areas. This role offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive and vehicle auction companies, who have operations across the country.
The Role:
Within the role, you will be working within an auction house setting in a “hands on” supervisory role ensuring the vehicles meet the standards ahead of being put into auction. Successful candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below:
- Supervising a team of automotive bodyshop operatives
- Preparation of vehicles prior to painting
- Polishing vehicles
- Body repairs
- Painting bodywork & panels
- Snagging & quick fix
- Vehicles can range from small family cars through to light commercial vehicles
- Working in a fast paced, well equipped bodyshop
The Person:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player
- Happy working in a fast paced, busy workshop
- Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
