We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join a busy automotive auction operation in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to support the day-to-day upkeep of the site, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment. No previous experience is required, although candidates with a background in maintenance, facilities, or cleaning would be at an advantage.
The Role:
- Sweeping and maintaining the yard, auction hall, and vehicle display areas
- Carrying out weeding and general upkeep of the site
- Ensuring work areas remain clean, tidy, and safe
- Assisting with general housekeeping across the site
- Supporting the wider team with other reasonable duties when required
The Person:
- Positive attitude and willingness to work
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Previous maintenance, cleaning, or facilities experience is desirable but not essential
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
