Are you a skilled Automotive Bodyshop All Rounder with experience in an automotive bodyshop setting? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Working on behalf of one of the leading automotive companies in the UK, successful candidates will be painting a range of vehicles in a busy and fast-paced bodyshop.
The Role:
- Painting vehicles and panels to a high standard every time.
- Mixing and colour matching paints.
- Performing light strip fit work.
- Preparing vehicles before painting.
- Completing full resprays through to painting a single panel such as a bumper.
- Responsible for the daily checks and running of the spray booth.
- Ensuring that all vehicles have been correctly masked and prepped prior to going into the paint booth.
- Undertaking any final prep work to the vehicle once in the booth if required.
The Person:
- Previous experience of working within an automotive bodyshop is essential for this role.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience of working within a Vehicle Paint Spraying role.
- Must have your own tools (spray guns, blocks, hammer) and air-fed mask.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player.
- Happy working in a fast-paced, busy workshop.
- Hold a full category B driving licence with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences.
