We are currently looking for Inbound Vehicle Inspectors to join a busy automotive operation in Rugby. This role involves carrying out visual inspections on vehicles as they arrive on site, ensuring any damage is accurately recorded before they move through the preparation process. Full training will be provided on systems and processes.
The Role
- Carrying out visual inspections of inbound vehicles
- Comparing vehicle condition reports against the actual vehicle
- Identifying and recording any additional damage not previously noted
- Taking clear photographs of any defects or damage
- Updating internal systems and reporting findings accurately
- Using handheld tablets and software to log inspection results
- Ensuring accurate damage reporting
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
The Person
- Strong attention to detail with a good eye for identifying damage
- Reliable and comfortable working outdoors
- Able to follow processes and use handheld devices/tablets
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous vehicle inspection or automotive experience is beneficial but not essential
