HGV Car Transporter Drivers Location: Thurleigh Available Shifts: * 4 on, 4 off * Tramping Delivering to: Compounds and Deports Salary: Up to £60,000 p/a Contract Type: Permanent Licence Required: HGV Licence Category C+E (Class 1) or C (Class 2) Igloo is recruiting *experienced* HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Car Transporter Drivers for our client based in Thurleigh. We are looking for motivated individuals to train as 11+ car transporter drivers, as well as experienced professionals ready to join the team. This role requires a driver who is committed to providing excellent customer service, as you will represent the company directly to their clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career—not just a job! About the Role * Driving an HGV car transporter carrying 11+ new or used vehicles. * Loading and unloading cars, vans, and other vehicles onto and off the transporter. * Conducting thorough vehicle checks before loading to ensure they are in good condition. * Engaging directly with dealerships and clients. * Delivering vehicles to dealerships and small businesses in the region. * Nights out as required. What We’re Looking For * Car Transporter experience. * A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence. * At least 6 months of driving experience in the last 2 years. * An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tacho Card. * No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (minor offences only). * Confidence driving vehicles onto trailers at height. * Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to high standards. * A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
