We are looking for
PDC Technicians to join our client’s busy automotive workshop in Chipping Warden.
This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a constant flow of vehicles, ensuring all checks are completed to a high standard before vehicles are released.
The Role
Within this role, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections and basic vehicle checks, including:
- Carrying out visual tyre inspections
- Completing brake checks
- Inspecting seatbelts for wear and tear
- Ensuring vehicles meet required standards prior to release
- Occasionally making and fitting number plates
- This is a non-mechanical role – no fitment work or ramp inspections are required.
- The Person
- NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a PDI or vehicle inspection role.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
