We are recruiting for a Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join our client’s busy automotive site in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and manufacturer-trained technician to take on a varied, high-level diagnostic role within a professional, well-equipped workshop.
Role
- Carry out advanced diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Work on EV and hybrid systems – EV Level 2 / 3 training preferred.
- Diagnose complex faults using diagnostic tools and technical data.
- Manage your own workload and ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Support and mentor colleagues, sharing technical expertise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle systems through ongoing training.
The Person
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturer or franchised workshop environment.
- EV Level 2 or Level 3 qualification desirable.
- Full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months).
- Excellent problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
- Confident communicator with strong organisational ability.
- Passionate about quality workmanship and continuous development.
