We have an excellent opportunity for an IPAF Scissor Lift Operator to join a large automotive and logistics operation based in Coventry. You will be working within a busy warehouse environment on behalf of a well-established global company, supporting stock control and inventory activities.
The Role:
- Operating a scissor lift safely to work at height
- Validating stock in racked locations
- Counting stock items and reporting discrepancies to the stock control team
- Accurately reporting any issues relating to stock quantities or damage
- Working closely with the stock control team, as well as independently when required
- Organising and monitoring stock build-up and reporting any damage identified
- Taking ownership of regular physical stock counts and inventories
- Using handheld scanners to record and update stock information
The Person:
- Holds a valid, in-date IPAF scissor lift licence
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or stock control role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with good numerical skills
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Able to follow instructions while also using initiative when working independently
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
