We are looking for Compound Drivers to join our client’s team in Cold Meece. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading automotive companies, supporting day-to-day operations in a busy vehicle compound.
The Role
- Safely manoeuvre vehicles within the large outdoor compound and in/out of workshops.
- Parking vehicles in bays and jump-start where necessary.
- Work with a variety of vehicles, including standard cars, high-performance models, and EVs.
- Drive manual, automatic, semi-automatic, and electric vehicles.
- Carry out pre-movement vehicle inspections, reporting any damages or issues.
- Work efficiently in all weather conditions.
The Person
- Full UK Driving Licence, held for at least 2 years (no more than 6 points for minor offences).
- Confident in driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Comfortable working outdoors and covering long walking distances when required.
- Previous professional driving or compound experience is desirable.
