We are recruiting an experienced Press Fleet and Events Controller to join a leading automotive operation in Chipping Warden. This is a key position for someone with strong organisational, communication and project management skills who can oversee vehicle fleet activity and support major events.

The Role:

  • Act as the main link between internal teams, suppliers and the client, ensuring the smooth coordination of fleet operations, event planning and vehicle preparation.
  • Manage day-to-day fleet activity, ensuring performance, utilisation and condition targets are achieved.
  • Coordinate vehicle preparation, movement and maintenance schedules to meet event or customer needs.
  • Support the planning and delivery of high-profile events, including vehicle allocation, logistics and presentation.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and internal departments to ensure clear communication and service excellence.
  • Analyse performance data and produce reports on fleet usage, KPIs and costs.
  • Manage purchase orders, invoices and budget tracking with support from finance teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Represent the company professionally at meetings, events and client visits.

About You:

  • Proven experience in project coordination, account management or fleet operations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Confident interpreting data and identifying trends.
  • Proactive, professional, and comfortable working under pressure.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
