We are currently recruiting Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client in Castleford. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of goods and products to commercial customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently and on time.
The Role:
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers using a van
- Use EPOD handheld systems for proof of delivery
- Carry out pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure there is no damage
- Maintain safe and efficient driving standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and your transport office regarding delivery times, delays, or issues
- Assist with warehouse duties when required (including goods in, replenishment, and general tidying)
The Person:
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points, no major endorsements)
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred
- Experience with both manual and automatic gearboxes
- Good verbal communication and customer service skills
- Flexible, reliable and a good team player
