We are currently recruiting for an experienced vehicle Trimmer / Strip Fitter to join a busy automotive bodyshop operation in Thurleigh. This is a hands‑on role working within a fast‑paced workshop environment, supporting vehicle repair and preparation processes to a high standard.

The Role

  • Removing and refitting vehicle trims, panels, and interior components
  • Stripping vehicles in preparation for repair work
  • Refitting components accurately following repair completion
  • Organising and labelling parts to ensure efficient workflow
  • Storing removed components safely and correctly
  • Supporting the wider bodyshop team to maintain productivity and quality standards
  • Carrying out work in line with company procedures and safety standards
  • Assisting and supporting junior team members where required

The Person

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Trimmer, Strip Fitter, or similar bodyshop role
  • Strong understanding of vehicle trim and panel systems
  • Experience working within an automotive bodyshop environment
  • Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points for minor offences)
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
