We are currently recruiting for Stock Maintenance Operatives to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the preparation and maintenance of both new and used vehicles within a fast-paced site environment. Full training will be provided.

The Role:

  • Testing and checking vehicle batteries using handheld testing equipment
  • Driving vehicles to carry out brake checks and basic vehicle movements
  • Carrying out visual inspections on tyres and inflating tyres where required
  • Jet washing vehicles and reporting any dashboard warning lights or faults
  • Topping up fuel levels as needed
  • Using handheld devices to record vehicle information and updates
  • Working on a variety of new and used vehicles
  • Supporting the wider team with general vehicle maintenance duties
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions

The Person:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points for minor offences)
  • Basic understanding of vehicles and confidence checking under bonnets
  • Comfortable using handheld devices and following processes
  • Reliable with a good work ethic
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Safety boots required for the role
