We are looking for PDC Technicians to join our client’s busy automotive workshop in Chipping Warden. This role involves working in a fast‑paced environment with a constant flow of vehicles, ensuring all checks are completed to a high standard before vehicles are released.

The Role: Within this role, you will be responsible for carrying out pre‑delivery inspections and basic vehicle checks, including:

  • Checking fluid levels
  • Carrying out visual tyre inspections
  • Completing brake checks
  • Inspecting seatbelts for wear & tear
  • Ensuring vehicles meet required standards prior to release
  • Occasionally making and fitting number plates

This is a non‑mechanical role – no fitment work or ramp inspections are required.

The Person:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a PDI or vehicle inspection role.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
