We are currently recruiting for a QC Operative to join a busy automotive operation in Rochester. This is a hands-on role focused on quality control at the final stages of the vehicle process, ensuring all work meets both customer and manufacturer standards.
The Role:
- Carry out final quality control checks on completed vehicles
- Inspect work against customer and manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure all job card activities are completed and closed correctly
- Record pass/fail outcomes with clear and accurate notes
- Take vehicle images in line with process and customer requirements
- Identify and report any defects, delays, or issues that may impact timelines
- Support the smooth flow of vehicles through the final stages of production
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Assist with general duties and support the wider team where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a quality control or automotive environment is beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Reliable, proactive, and able to use own initiative
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Own transport required due to site location
