We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver to join a leading vehicle logistics operation based in Poole.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transporter driver looking for a permanent role with consistent Monday-Friday work, transporting vehicles across the UK.
The Role:
As an HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving HGV Class 1 car transporters nationwide
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out vehicle inspections before loading and delivery
- Ensuring vehicles are transported without damage
- Completing all relevant transport and delivery documentation
- Delivering vehicles to dealerships, compounds, auctions, and other customer locations
- Maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism at all times
- Adhering to all drivers' hours, tachograph, and health & safety regulations
The Person:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Proven experience operating car transporters is essential
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 points for minor offences
- Good understanding of vehicle loading and securing procedures
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Reliable with excellent time management skills
