We’re recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join an established accident repair business in Northampton. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong estimating skills and industry knowledge to join a busy bodyshop, with the potential to increase earnings through performance-related bonuses.
The Role:
- Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate, fully costed repair estimates.
- Use Audatex confidently to produce detailed estimates.
- Manage your own workload and ensure assessments are completed efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for additional work, including upsells and non-fault claims.
- Communicate professionally with customers in person and over the phone.
- Apply your knowledge of vehicle body repairs and paintwork when assessing damage.
- Work with the wider team to ensure repairs progress smoothly and customers receive a professional service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator within the accident repair industry.
- Confident using Audatex to produce repair estimates.
- Experience with Autoflow would be advantageous.
- Ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise tasks.
- Confident communication skills, particularly when dealing with customers.
- Good knowledge of vehicle body repairs and paint processes.
- A full UK driving licence.
What We Offer:
- Basic salary of £40,000-£50,000 earning potential, with £50,000 achievable through basic salary plus bonus.
- Performance-related bonus opportunities, including upsells and non-fault claims.
- Annual salary review each October.
- 21 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Permanent position with an established accident repair business.
- Monday-Friday working pattern, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis, usually 1 in 4 or 5 Saturdays.

Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Daventry, Towcester, Rugby, Milton Keynes, Bedford and surrounding areas.
