We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Newcastle. This role is key to ensuring vehicles meet the required standards before moving through the next stage of the process.
The Role:
As a Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out initial inspections on newly arrived vehicles
- Identifying and recording any damage, defects, or missing items
- Using handheld tablets or systems to log inspection results
- Completing documentation to support repair estimates
- Working to set KPIs and turnaround times
- Supporting the wider workshop team to maintain workflow
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with company and manufacturer standards
The Person:
- Previous experience in a vehicle inspection or automotive role
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points for minor offences)
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
- Able to work independently and make decisions where required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
