We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Social Media Assistant to help grow Igloo's online presence and raise awareness of our brand. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing who wants to develop their skills in a hands-on role.
You'll work across social media, email campaigns and marketing materials, helping attract candidates and promote opportunities across our recruitment business. We're looking for someone with fresh ideas, a willingness to learn and the motivation to make a difference.
The Role:
- Manage and grow Igloo's social media channels, creating engaging content to increase reach and brand awareness.
- Develop social media campaigns to attract candidates and generate interest in our vacancies.
- Create recruitment posters, graphics and other marketing materials.
- Prepare and distribute email campaigns and mailshots.
- Bring forward new ideas to improve engagement and strengthen the Igloo brand.
- Work with recruitment teams to understand hiring needs and support their campaigns.
- Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities to improve.
- Keep up to date with social media trends, platforms and content ideas.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine interest in social media, marketing and content creation.
- Creativity and an eye for producing engaging visual and written content.
- Confidence using social media platforms and an understanding of what makes content engaging.
- Good written communication and attention to detail.
- Organisation and the ability to manage different tasks.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and confidence to share ideas.
- Previous marketing experience is helpful but not essential. Personal projects, social media accounts or examples of content you’ve created would also be valuable.
