We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste management operation across multiple locations in Kendal, Cumbria.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced drivers and newly qualified Class 2 drivers looking to gain experience within a stable, long-term role.
The Role:
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on scheduled collection routes
- Working alongside the crew to complete daily collections efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects where required
- Following all road transport and health & safety regulations
- Providing a professional and reliable service at all times
- Supporting other depot locations when required
The Person:
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card
- Newly qualified drivers are welcome
- No more than 6 points for minor offences
- Minimum age of 21 for insurance purposes
- Reliable with a good work ethic
