We’re recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in Huntingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to work within a professional bodyshop, carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs with competitive earning potential and opportunities for career development.
The Role:
- Remove, refit and replace mechanical, electrical and trim components on damaged vehicles.
- Follow manufacturer guidance and approved repair methods.
- Dismantle and reassemble vehicles accurately to support the repair process.
- Identify additional damage and report any changes to the repair estimate or parts requirements.
- Ensure all work meets the required quality and safety standards.
- Complete repairs efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Work closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure repairs progress smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an MET Technician within an automotive bodyshop.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and trim systems.
- IMI accreditation is desirable.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional and reliable approach, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
