We are currently recruiting for experienced QC Inspectors to join a busy automotive operation in Grimsby. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced workshop and bodyshop environment, ensuring vehicles meet the required quality standards throughout the process.
The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail and experience identifying and accurately recording vehicle damage.
The Role:
As a QC Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out detailed vehicle inspections within agreed timeframes.
- Identifying and recording bodywork and cosmetic damage.
- Using handheld tablets and internal systems to record vehicle condition reports.
- Ensuring estimates and inspection records are completed accurately.
- Adding and identifying parts required for repairs using internal systems.
- Supporting workshop and bodyshop teams to maintain vehicle quality standards.
- Following all health and safety procedures and site processes.
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
The Person:
- Previous experience in vehicle inspection, QC or a similar automotive role.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Confident using handheld devices or tablet-based systems.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Professional communication skills.
- Awareness of workshop health and safety procedures.
- Full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
