Licence Required: FLT Counterbalance
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy automotive operation in Long Bennington. This is a straightforward role primarily involving the safe movement of metal structural poles and materials around the workshop and storage areas.
The successful candidate will be confident operating a Counterbalance forklift and able to work safely and efficiently within a busy environment.
The Role:
- Operating a Counterbalance forklift to move metal structural poles and materials
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials around site
- Ensuring materials are stored safely and in designated areas
- Carrying out basic daily checks on forklift equipment
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting general workshop duties when required
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
The Person:
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance forklift is essential
- Valid Counterbalance licence obtained through an accredited training provider
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Comfortable working within a workshop environment
