We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Daventry. This is a varied role combining forklift driving, warehouse duties, administration and manual handling within a fast-paced logistics environment.
The Role:
As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trailers.
- Checking pick sheets and ensuring goods are processed correctly.
- Scanning bikes onto the relevant voyage using internal systems.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties and keeping the working area clean and organised.
- Litter picking and general housekeeping when required.
- Carrying out manual handling duties, including moving white goods such as washing machines and fridge freezers using a scan truck.
- Supporting the wider warehouse operation with any other ad hoc duties as required.
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures at all times.
The Person:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate.
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Good attention to detail when completing paperwork and scanning goods.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
What We Offer:
- Weekly pay.
- £13.73 per hour between 06:00-19:59.
- £16.03 per hour for hours worked between 20:00-22:30.
