We’re recruiting for a qualified MOT Tester to join a busy automotive workshop in Corby. You’ll work as part of an experienced team, carrying out MOT tests, inspections and repairs to ensure vehicles meet the required safety and quality standards.
The Role:
- Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
- Undertake road and ramp testing, inspections and diagnostics where required.
- Complete vehicle repairs using approved methods.
- Carry out warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Complete documentation accurately and follow company procedures.
- Support general workshop tasks and assist the wider team when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified MOT Tester - essential.
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics - essential.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to diagnose faults, including electrical issues where required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to support junior technicians when needed.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
