We are looking for an experienced Commercial Paint Technician to join a large automotive repair business in Long Bennington. You’ll be preparing and refinishing LCVs and HGVs, producing high-quality paint finishes in line with manufacturer expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing, painting and refinishing commercial vehicles using approved materials and repair methods
- Completing paintwork to an excellent standard, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Ensuring paint finishes meet both internal and manufacturer quality checks
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation in the booth and workshop
- Collaborating with the wider repair team to meet deadlines and customer requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Paint Technician in a bodyshop or commercial vehicle environment
- Strong understanding of paint systems, colour matching and modern refinishing techniques
- ATA accreditation (or willingness to obtain) is desirable
- Experience within an approved repair centre is beneficial
- High levels of pride, accuracy and quality focus
- A reliable team player who takes ownership of their work
