We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Traffic / Security Administrator to support the gatehouse at a busy automotive compound in Upper Heyford. This is a fast-paced reception and administration role, dealing with drivers, deliveries, customers, and general site enquiries throughout the day.
The successful candidate will work alongside the site security team to manage inbound and outbound traffic and ensure the gatehouse operation runs smoothly.
The Role:
- Supporting the gatehouse operation between 08:00 and 17:00.
- Dealing with drivers, truck drivers, customers, and visitors attending site.
- Managing incoming and outgoing site traffic alongside the security team.
- Processing and recording vehicle movements and deliveries.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
- Providing general administrative and reception support.
- Using internal systems to record and update information accurately.
- Supporting the wider site team with administrative tasks as required.
- Working efficiently in a busy environment where large volumes of vehicles may be processed.
The Person:
- Previous administration, reception, or customer-facing experience is desirable.
- Good knowledge of email and Windows-based systems.
- Confident using computers and learning new systems.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Able to remain calm and professional in a busy and demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working alongside security and other site teams.
Full training will be provided on the company's internal systems.
