We are currently recruiting for an experienced QC Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This is a hands‑on role working within a fast‑paced workshop and bodyshop environment, ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before progressing through the next stage of the process.
The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail and experience identifying and recording vehicle damage accurately.
The Role:
As a QC Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out detailed vehicle inspections within agreed timeframes
- Identifying and recording bodywork and cosmetic damage
- Using handheld tablets and systems to log vehicle condition reports
- Ensuring estimates and inspection records are completed accurately
- Adding and identifying parts required for repairs using internal systems
- Supporting workshop and bodyshop teams to maintain vehicle quality standards
- Following all health & safety procedures and site processes
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
The Person:
- Previous experience in vehicle inspection, QC, or a similar automotive role
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
- Confident using handheld devices or tablet-based systems
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Professional communication skills
- Awareness of workshop health & safety procedures
- Full UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points for minor offences)
