We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This role is key to ensuring vehicles meet the required standards before moving through the next stage of the process.
The Role:
As a Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out initial inspections on newly arrived vehicles.
- Identifying and recording any damage, defects or missing items.
- Using handheld tablets or systems to log inspection results.
- Completing documentation to support repair estimates.
- Working to set KPIs and turnaround times.
- Supporting the wider workshop team to maintain workflow.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with company and manufacturer standards.
The Person:
- Previous experience in a vehicle inspection or automotive role.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach.
- Able to work independently and make decisions where required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
