We are looking for Tyre Fitter/Vehicles Maintenance Technician to join our client’s busy automotive workshop in Chipping Warden. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a constant flow of vehicles, ensuring all checks are completed to a high standard before vehicles are released.
The Role:
Within this role, you will be responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and 30-day vehicle maintenance checks
- Tyre fitting
- This role requires worker to do maintenance checks on vehicles:
- Checking fluid levels
- Carrying out visual tyre inspections
- Completing brake checks
- Inspecting seatbelts for wear & tear
- Ensuring vehicles meet required standards prior to release
- Occasionally making and fitting number plates
The Person:
- Previous experience in tyre fitting
- A full, clean driving licence
- Relevant technical knowledge to perform routine maintenance tasks
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
