We are currently recruiting for PDI Inspectors to join a busy automotive operation in Chipping Warden. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced vehicle preparation environment, carrying out pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet the required standards before handover.
The Role:
As a PDI Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on vehicles
- Completing vehicle checks using handheld inspection devices
- Checking tyre tread, oil levels, and general vehicle condition
- Wheel torquing and completing final vehicle checks
- Fitting number plates where required
- Identifying and reporting any vehicle defects or issues
- Ensuring vehicles meet company and customer standards prior to dispatch
The Person:
- Previous vehicle inspection or PDI experience is highly desirable
- Good attention to detail and quality-focused approach
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using handheld devices and following inspection processes
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points for minor offences)
