The Enterprise Relationship Manager (ERM) will manage a targeted number of large, FinServ named accounts to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role focuses on managing and growing specific named accounts, developing C‑level relationships, selling deep and wide, and meeting key performance expectations for our sales organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Effectively deliver the IGEL value proposition and demonstrate an understanding of the products.
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Use forecasting and pipeline management to drive sales growth.
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Use our Microsoft CRM platform to develop and carry out professional account management procedures.
  • Collaborate with IGEL’s marketing team on account‑based marketing campaigns targeting enterprise and global organisations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for enterprise accounts while working closely with Inside Sales Representatives, Channel Managers and Sales Engineers.
  • Build and maintain a sustained pipeline of opportunities and own the opportunity from inception through close.
  • Engage management and subject‑matter experts at appropriate stages of the sales cycle.
  • Participate in territory plan reviews, weekly forecasting reviews, and quarterly sales reviews with the executive team.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with senior and C‑level executives within named accounts.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong track record penetrating and closing enterprise/global accounts.
  • Proven history of sales overachievement and a demonstrated network of enterprise contacts.
  • Experience closing 7‑figure+ sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organization, collaboration skills, and passion for best practices across virtual and regional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with proven excellence in strategic account planning and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Consistent ability to meet and exceed bookings and revenue targets year‑over‑year.
  • Solid reputation in the region.
  • Strong ability to follow through and meet deadlines.
  • Balance of strategic and tactical skills.
  • Comfortable working in a small, expanding company with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience selling emerging technologies over extensive sales cycles against incumbents.
  • Proficiency in closing new business and expanding existing relationships.
  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Experience with complex enterprise software sales across multiple IT organisational levels.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience selling software or hardware to Enterprise/Global customers.
  • Experience in FinServ.
  • Channel‑friendly; IGEL is 100% channel.
  • Hunter mental‑set; this is not a farming role.
  • Track record of success from a repeatable process.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50 %.
  • Strong English language skills (speaking, writing, presenting).
  • Willingness to attend the Reading office at least once a week.
