Do you have a passion for operational excellence and effective delivery of impactful learning programmes? We are looking for an exceptional Head of Operations who can ensure best in class delivery of IGD’s learning programmes.

About the role

As Head of Operations, Learning Programmes, your role is to lead the design and delivery of IGD’s learning programmes. You will build and manage the annual operational plan to deliver the IGD business plan and organisational targets. You will lead and develop the learning operations team, and you will build a network of internal and external stakeholders to develop IGD’s learning programmes.

Team management and planning

You will be accountable for tracking learning KPIs, reporting on progress, identifying risks/opportunities and recommending action. You will manage the annual learning budget, ensuring it delivers the best value for IGD. Supporting the Director of Learning and Development Programmes, you will contribute to long-term strategic planning. You will manage and develop the learning operations team.

Stakeholder management and communication

Work with colleagues across IGD to develop and maintain a network of external stakeholders to engage in our programmes. Work in partnership with the Marketing team to develop effective communications plans to raise awareness and drive engagement with IGD’s Learning programmes. Manage relationships with providers (e.g., LMS platform provider). Champion Learning across IGD, ensuring internal understanding and supporting colleagues with your expertise.

Thought Leadership

You will develop and maintain sound knowledge of the learning landscape, producing recommendations based on your insights to inform the direction of IGD’s Learning Programmes.

  • Line management experience is desirable but not essential.
