This is a 12‑Month Fixed‑Term contract and Part‑Time position equating to 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and one other day of your choosing).
What you’ll do
- Policy and regulatory leadership
- Lead the analysis of the policy and regulatory landscape, assessing its impact on IGD’s programmes and discerning implications for the food and consumer goods businesses.
- Develop clear, evidence‑based policy positions that drive impact, shaping IGD’s advocacy and informing engagement with industry and government stakeholders.
- Analyse the policy and regulatory landscape, assessing its impact on the food system.
- Discern implications for the food businesses and articulate these through IGD communication channels.
- Corporate affairs network leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government departments and policymakers, ensuring IGD is well‑connected, informed and able to contribute constructively to relevant policy discussions.
- Develop and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders in Corporate Affairs functions to drive engagement and alignment with IGD’s initiatives.
- Representation and speaking engagements
- Represent IGD on relevant speaking platforms, including Boardroom briefings and Industry Forums, ensuring effective communication of perspectives.
