Key Responsibilities
- Own daily revenue reporting, including data extraction, validation and transformation across multiple systems.
- Pipeline monitoring – check that ingestion pipelines are running correctly and flag issues, maintaining data integrity.
- Define and enforce data quality standards, implementing validation frameworks and monitoring for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
- Serve as primary escalation point for complex data issues, working cross‑functionally with engineering, finance and commercial teams.
- Own end‑to‑end automation of data collection and reporting processes, from scoping to delivery and iteration.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, build business cases and drive implementation.
- Champion adoption of AI and emerging technologies to evolve workflows.
Leadership & Partnering
- Lead and develop a junior analyst, providing guidance, reviews and coaching (with scope to grow the team).
- Support Head of Financial Operations on strategic planning, resource management and senior leadership reporting.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in data operations, data analysis or similar role, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead capacity.
- A scripting mindset – Python or similar is a plus, or a genuine appetite to learn it.
- Proven ability to project‑manage technical workstreams using tools such as Jira, Asana or similar.
- Strong SQL skills and advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (scripting, complex formulas, automation).
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders and document processes clearly.
- Solid understanding of data integrity and its importance in a performance marketing environment.
- Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset, comfortable operating autonomously and taking ownership of outcomes.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment where priorities shift quickly.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio) and data pipeline concepts.
- Previous experience in a scaling operations team where processes were being built or redesigned.
- Experience working in affiliate or performance marketing, or in a similarly data‑intensive, regulated sector.
