We are seeking an experienced People Development Manager to design, deliver and continuously improve learning programmes and organisational development initiatives that will enable growth across the business. This role will be responsible for the full employee development lifecycle from onboarding through to performance management and leadership development, while supporting change initiatives and cultural priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the Learning & Development roadmap by understanding business needs and translating them into impactful learning strategies, including annual plans aligned with organizational priorities and talent growth objectives.
- Design and implement comprehensive career frameworks and competency models that define progression pathways, skills, and behaviours required for success across all roles and organizational levels.
- Design and deliver leadership development programs for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders, identifying capability gaps and creating targeted interventions that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Ownership of organisational development initiatives that enhance performance, employee engagement and organisational capability.
- Support change initiatives by designing and delivering training, communications, and engagement activities that ensure smooth transitions.
- Design and implement a best-in-class onboarding program that accelerates new starter integration and productivity, including role-specific pathways and comprehensive induction experiences.
- Partner with business leaders to understand organisational challenges and translate them into practical development solutions.
- Deliver training, resources and coaching to support effective performance management practices and enable managers to conduct meaningful performance conversations.
About You
- Experience in delivering the full learning lifecycle, strategy, design, implementation, analytics, and optimisation.
- Excellent project management, facilitation, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and work streams in a fast-paced business.
- The ability to translate business needs into high-impact learning strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder influence skills with the ability to build credibility with business leaders.
- Thrive working in an autonomous role and have the proactive approach to actively seek solutions.
- Strong instructional design capability with experience across digital and blended learning methods.
- Experience managing L&D budgets and vendor relationships.
- Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment and/or in a standalone role highly preferred.
