Job Description:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Esports Deputy Editor

In this role, you will be responsible for creating news content, assisting with editorial duties, and working with the Editor to develop and execute the content strategy for our esports and gaming ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Create and support esports content strategy in conjunction with the editor.

Develop our product’s original content strategy — interviews, event coverage, relevant tournament pieces, and editorialised content.

Update evergreen content when necessary.

Writing news and long-form content.

Editing news and long-form content when needed.

Converse with PR contacts and esports stakeholders to boost news and evergreen content opportunities.

Assist with forward planning around major esports events

Take responsibility for the website’s performance and writers when the Editor is absent.
