About the Company:

We are a rapidly growing, independent distributor of electrical and renewable energy components. Operating from a busy, modern distribution hub in Warrington, we supply high-quality solar products, EV chargers, inverters, and electrical gear to trade installers, commercial clients, and retail customers nationwide.

As our digital footprint expands, we are seeking a proactive, organised E-commerce & Marketing Manager to take full operational ownership of our online storefronts, streamline order fulfillment, and support local trade counter marketing initiatives.

The Role:

This is a dynamic, hybrid position perfect for a digital all-rounder who thrives on a blend of website management, catalog maintenance, and creative marketing. You will have day-to-day operational responsibility for running our two active standalone e-commerce websites alongside an established eBay sales channel. Your core mission will be ensuring our digital presence remains accurate, highly competitive, and structured to drive commercial trade growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website & Channel Management:
    • Take full day-to-day ownership of running, updating, and maintaining two live e-commerce websites.
    • Conduct regular audits of all digital content, product imagery, and descriptions to ensure absolute data accuracy.
    • Work closely with the internal sales team to align multichannel marketplace strategies and optimize online trading.
  • Catalog Maintenance & Inventory Operations:
    • Accurately list and upload new technical stock lines, product specifications, data sheets, and SKUs onto our platforms.
    • Routinely conduct market research and competitor price-checking to ensure trade and retail rates remain highly competitive.
    • Process incoming online orders and liaise hand-in-hand with the purchasing department regarding real-time stock levels and incoming goods.
  • Marketing & Promotional Campaigns:
    • Design and distribute eye-catching marketing and promotional materials (such as flyers, banners, and point-of-sale displays) specifically tailored for our physical trade counter.
    • Coordinate and execute targeted email mail-outs and digital newsletters to active trade and retail customer databases.
    • Plan and launch commercial promotional drives in close collaboration with the purchasing department to clear or push specific lines.

About You (Key Requirements):

  • Experience: Proven experience working within an e-commerce, digital administration, or online trading/marketing role. Direct experience handling platforms such as Shopify, eBay, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar product-focused systems is highly advantageous.
  • Commercial Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when managing product data, manipulating large numbers of technical SKUs, and cross-checking competitor pricing.
  • Technical/Creative Aptitude: Basic capability or interest in creating simple visual trade graphics (flyers/banners) and executing email campaigns.
  • Industry Context: Experience working within an electrical, wholesale, construction, trade merchant, or technical product distribution environment is a significant advantage, though not essential as full product training will be provided.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively on-site between purchasing, warehouse operations, and sales.

What’s on Offer:

  • A secure, permanent role within a highly profitable and booming green-energy distribution sector.
  • A supportive, close-knit team environment.
  • Modern office/hub facilities in Warrington with excellent transport links.
  • Genuine flexibility surrounding start and finish times.
