The Role
We are looking for a capable and hands-on Project Manager to support and deliver engineering projects across process, instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. This role is practical and delivery-focused, working closely with the wider Projects and Controls teams to ensure equipment is specified correctly, procured efficiently, and installed and commissioned to a high standard. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from producing P&IDs and technical documentation, through to coordinating suppliers and contractors, and leading commissioning activities on site. The role requires someone who can manage multiple tasks at different stages, stay organised, and maintain strong communication with colleagues, customers, and partners. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys being hands-on, taking ownership of work packages, and contributing to successful project delivery. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously, while representing iGAS with professionalism to clients and partners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engineering work packages across design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Produce P&IDs, specifications, and technical documentation to support project delivery.
- Work closely with the Controls team and other internal departments to ensure alignment.
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and vendors, ensuring equipment and services meet project requirements.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and vendor evaluations.
- Build positive working relationships with customers and partners worldwide.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001, health & safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support innovation within the project team.
- Assist with client support contracts and spare parts coordination where required.
About You
- Experience delivering engineering tasks within process equipment or similar technical projects.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Technical competence in process, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering.
- A track record of contributing to safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery.
- A practical, hands-on approach with a focus on problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
